These Tinel lock adapters are a two-piece system that includes aluminum alloy modified rotary couplings that are terminated and threaded with the rear of the connector, as well as Tinel lock rings. The Tinel lock ring is made of a special shape memory metal that shrinks uniformly when heated, permanently connecting the cable shield to the adapter body. The resulting 360 ° C termination is resistant to impact, vibration, thermal cycling, and corrosion, and the terminated cable can then be sealed and protected using a heat shrink molded sleeve.
